The Somer Valley Foodbank centre in Midsomer Norton has moved and the days and times are different for Midsomer Norton and Paulton
The Somer Valley Foodbank has moved to St John’s Hall Midsomer Norton, behind the Anglican Church, opposite the Esso garage in Church Lane.
There is parking behind the church
The sessions will be on Wednesdays from 1-3pm in St John’s Hall.
The Somer Valley Foodbank in Paulton has also changed days
The last Wednesday session was on 7th August and now all sessions will be on Monday from 12 -2pm.
Our foodbank provides three days of nutritionally balanced, non-perishable food.
The Trussell Trust has worked with nutritionists to ensure food parcels contains sufficient nutrition for at least three days worth of healthy, balanced meals for individuals and families.
A typical food parcel includes:
- Breakfast cereals
- Soup
- Pasta or Rice
- Pasta sauce
- Tinned beans
- Tinned meat and fish
- Tinned vegetables and tomatoes
- Tinned fruit
- Tea bags or Coffee
- UHT milk
- Biscuits
- Snacks
Dietary requirements
Our foodbank can usually adapt your food parcel to meet your dietary needs. When you arrive at the foodbank centre, a volunteer will chat to you about an special dietary requirements you may have.
