Easter Sunday Sunrise Service and Communion at Chew Valley Lake
Led by Rev. Martin Slocombe and assisted by Rev. Jane Wilson
Sunrise Easter Service is one of the special experiences and delights worth the early morning start at 6.45am.
Here you watch with friends the golden sunrise and hear the first bird song of the morning. We sang some wonderful Easter Hymns accompanied by keyboard and guitar folllowed by the sharing of bread and wine. After the service ended, by chance we saw a man in a boat go out on to the Lake, a fitting touch to the Biblical experience, topped by a fish bap breakfast supplied by the Methodists.
